Frequently Asked Questions
Regarding Entrance: Wild Dunes is a private resort and requires a guest pass to enter. I will text you a barcode to present to the guard in the left lane gate entrance. It only serves to expedite getting a car-pass to be placed on your car dashboard. The car-pass includes parking at Summerhouse, which is monitored.
Regarding Parking: You can park in any parking space at Summerhouse with restrictions for handicap spaces. There are a few parking spaces under the condo. If the parking lot is full, guests will park their second car behind their other car to open up spaces. There is an elevator at the end of the building nearest our condo and luggage carts are available next to the elevator. Please return the carts after use.
Regarding check-in: We are offer contact-free check-in. As soon as the condo is cleaned and ready for your stay, I will text you the door code. If you arrive prior to 4:00 and the condo is not ready, you are welcomed to go to the pool or walk the beach! There are bathrooms at the pool and showers on the walkway from the beach to wash off sand.

Regarding Summerhouse Pool: The pool is open for use by Summerhouse residents and guests. The pool gate closest to the beach is sometimes locked to discourage others from using the Summerhouse pool who are not guests.

Regarding Groceries & Ice: Harris Teeter is on IOP and after you stock the refrigerator, you can select the option for a Power Cool mode on the front panel. I suggest buying a bag of ice when you first arrive even though there are top and bottom ice makers. The bottom ice maker fills faster when the top one is turned off during the night.
